The car started overheateing three hours into our road trip holiday. We still pushed through all the way to Missouri by managing to keep the engine from completely boiling with the heat blasting on full. Not speeding helped as well I think. It was not too much fun to have the heat on when the outside temperature was not only hot but humid as well. Luckily the car only needed a small repair (thermostat). It is back to its normal self again. With great southern hospitality the little service station accepted the challenge to fix the car that same day and they did a great job. It felt like I was on a movie set when I tried to pay with my VISA card and the owner looked at me and politely said with a broad southern American accident, "we don't take them cards." There was a bank across the street so no problems! The car is up and running even with the AC on. Yippiee. We will see so much on our trip together. Stay tuned for some pictures.

Sam's bro Carl is hitched, they are on their honeymoon. We've had fun visiting with Sam's family who came to the wedding wedding from Montana.
Good job getting the car fixed, J!
