* Esther grabbed my hair with both her hands AND her toes and yanked with all her might!
* I was waiting in the lobby at the Chiropractor's office last week and there was an elderly couple also waiting there.
Woman to the Chiro: "When should I come in next?"
Doctor: "How about Tuesday at 10:30? Are you free?"
Woman: Chuckles. "Ohhh, yes, I am always free!"
Man to the Doctor: "Too bad you aren't free!"
* Jonas and I have been talking about our baby girl. Somehow we always end up talking about her and I was doing some thinking...
- Jonas wondered - What will her little voice sound like?
- What will be her first word?
- What will be the first memory she will recall as an adult?
- When will she understand what God did for her?
* Esther is my back-up alarm clock. But on the one day I needed to get up on time (my class starts at 8 am and it takes me about 25 mins to get there), I turned my alarm off and went back to sleep. Usually she is up by 7 and cooing and babbling REALLY loudly, but not this day. I woke up at 7:25 - AAARRRGGGGG, I thought. Why didn't she wake up? And then I peeked in her crib and she was on all fours trying to crawl - very, very quietly! P.S. I did make it to class on time - which is pretty amazing...
* Shower story - at last - or why I panic in the shower?! Well, it really is not a big deal, but our shower taps started acting up a few months ago. They don't turn with the same consistency and I always get this feeling of panic that I will be severely scalded or temporarily frozen. It's the same sick feeling I get when I am about to merge to another lane and just before turning I double-check and some maniac passes you at 80 miles an hour and you breathe a sigh of relief!
* Gas is down - waaay down, by more than a $1. Great, now Americans can fill up cheaper - but wait a minute - there's no money in the bank!

I have a fear that as I am filling the tank....the computer will change the price before I click off and make me pay more.
And I could not resist.....I saw this pair of pink suede winter boots at a garage sale and they had Esther's name all over them. They are just tiny and cute...perfect for your little darling. I'll get your address from Mir.
That's so sweet of you, Maxima. You can email me at shieandjonas at gmail, if you would like. I had a question to ask you as well...
Great short snipits. Mir and I laughed out loud when she read them to me today.
In Sweden gas cost about $1.86/litre, which is approximately $7/gallon. Can you mail me some gas please?

Hi guys,
Nice collage of entries this week. I like to hear these thoughts about so many random things. Isn't it exciting that you get to watch Ester grow and develop and see how God works in her!?!? Wow, now you guys got me thinking.
God Bless!
