Our Quickly Passing Fall Days

A few highlights from the past several weeks...

We had dinner with our friends, the Liangs, recently and Es loved playing with Soph and Sammie. They had so much fun and played so hard and got so tired that a little rest was imminent.

Veggie Tales is on the menu every day these days. We watch a few clips online and Es loves them. "Gee Talesh" gets a lotta love.

A view from the cabin that we took Mir, Sam and Noah to a few weeks ago.

Having fun!

Sleepy Es with "Meow". That's what Es calls Mir, and in fact she does the sign for "cat" every time she looks at Mir's pic or if she hears us talk about them.

Dadda and daughter
At the apple orchard with an old-fashioned bell. The bell sounded pretty on a chilly autumn day. Es's mouth is full of apple!

Cute Cousins
Northfield - a town not far from the apple orchard. I thought this was a pretty look over the river.

This little pond reminded me of the "Dead Marshes" with a bit more color. I was half expecting Gollum to swim up!

Not a lot to see in this video, but the singing from our nightbird is cute! I recorded it on our way back one night from some friends. Es almost never stays up late. She usually sings when we put her in her crib and I've always wanted to catch it on tape, but didn't want to disturb her. I got a chance to record her in the car.
