Apple picking and Daughter's Day!

Just before Mum left, she, Esther and I went apple-picking. Es was so excited to see apples hanging from the trees and we had a lot of fun picking them. It was also my Mum's first time in an orchard. Usually there are a lot more things to do at these orchards, but the one we picked (of course!), is closing down this year, so we could pick apples and go on pony rides, extremely short pony rides.

































Es wanted to go on a pony. She was very particular about which one she wanted to ride and waited until Paris was available.




A few weeks ago, it was Daughter's Day (yes, there is such a day, as I recently found out!). I took Es on a little date. We went to a pumpkin patch, ran around in a giant pit of corn and my arms and legs ached for days after! We also went down a gigantic slide a couple of times (I was surprised by my vertigo, hopefully it will go away soon), visited the petting zoo, rode a little horse, went back to the corn pit and then headed home.
