Shiloh is busy staggering the seams and making sure the tongue and groove fit nicely before each strip gets stapled in.
My staple gun shoots 2" long (4 cm) staples perfectly every time on a diagonal into the sub floor through the tongue of the board! It is nice to have good tools! Hi hi.
We got some help late in the evening from my friend Chad.
After I had sanded the floors directly under our radiators, I wanted to connect them again as the cold weather outside started to get to Shie and me. I was sleeping with a hat on for a couple days...
Mark came by to help me reconnect our radiators. The cast iron radiators weigh over 400 pounds. It is good to have help!
Stay tuned for the finished flooring!

Looks REALLY nice! Funny how you guys POSED with your hardwood floors. Really funny...and a little bit creepy.

We LOOOOOVE them! And they are easier to hold when they are not nailed down!
I dig the floors! They look like they have hardly any sap in them at all. Gotta love solid hardwood floors. I bet with your fancy flooring gun you still had a bit of a sore back. Putting flooring in is no fun.
looks great! Must be nice to finally have the floor you wanted all along. Shie... are you actually walking bare foot on that old subfloor? Looks dangerous to me! And cold!
No, Mir! I usually wore tennies. If you look close I did have little pink slip ons ;-), but I changed out of those pretty quick! The floors look great. We'll put up the final pics soon.
Hi guys! The floor looks great! I love seeing the pictures, it makes me feel close to home. Looking forward to the final pics!
