Here is the Thanksgiving table from this year. We wish more of you could join us. Thanksgiving is my (and J's) favorite American holiday. The smallest turkey I could find was 12.5 pounds (6kg)! Jonas loves green bean casserole, so I made that as well. In addition we had a sweet potato soufflé, salad/bread, mashed potatoes (Jonas' creation), gravy, lingonberry sauce and veggies and Kristian Regale Pear sparkler (Mark's contribution).

There were 6 of us - Tanya, Andrew, Mark. Travis, J and me. After all this, we ate Tanya's yummy pies as well. But as my grandpa says of desserts - when the king comes, the people make way!

Over the weekend we had Sam, Sophie and Annika (our friends Pete and Nancy's 5 year old) to our place to decorate gingerbread houses. I totally forgot to take pictures of the kiddos doing the actual decorating. But here is little Annika holding her beautifully decorated house. I think they had fun. At one point it was very quiet upstairs and I just went over to check on them and I walked in and surveyed the scene. Each of them was laying down, curled up in a different parts of the bedroom - Sophie informed me they were playing "Kitties."
