Hurray! It is a balmy 70 degrees in our house and the boiler is humming better than ever before!
I cheated and called in a professional who was here all of 20 minutes! He put in a new transformer that I had tested and my instrument registered 110 volts (which is standard current here in the states - in sweden it is 220). He chuckeled and told me that the transformer needs to put out 10 000 volts to create a spark big enough. He made some more adjustements and told me that now when I have changed so many parts our boiler and burner is good as new and will run without any problems for the next 15 years. Seriously, he added a part to the nozzle that will cut out oil comsumption with 15%. That is a significant savings over a year.
I learned a ton studying the manuals and learned a lot just watching and interacting with the technician. He has serviced boiler burners for 30 years and gave me his personal cell phone and told me that I could call him anytime if I had any questions next time I feel like tinkering with the burner.

Jonas, you´re the best! I am so glad it works again! Em
YEAH! Well, I think that we wouldn't have had this problem if you would have let me keep the house warm in the first place. I think the boiler was a bit depressed and gave out. It's a BOILER, it wants to BOIL! You have to give it that chance...
Congratulations!!!! You gave it your best and now there is heat. You can relax and stay home with this blizzard approaching.
Con grats! Well done Jonas! Good news too that you will save money on the long run.
Love you guys so much!
