I was right...

It is not going through the full start up cycle. I don't know but I think I need a new sensor. Who sells old sensors for Becket burners??? It took me awhile and a couple of phone calls but I believe there is a plumbing supply store that has it. I am on my way since temperature in our house is plummeting again...

I feel soooo sorry for you guys! It´s horrible having heater problems. Brrr! I freeze when I think about it. I hope that the problem will be fixed smoothly, fast, and cheap so that you may laugh at this in a couple of days.

Love

It was not the sensor. ARGH!!!
I am reading the manual on the burner and hope that by night time I'll be a expert. Thank God for internet!

Jag hejar på dig Jonas! Otroligt, jag skulle aldrig få för mig att fingra på såna prylar.

Well, the new sensor is in but the boiler is still not making sweet music. I had a friend over and we worked on it for several hours and have concluded that there are two culprits that is causing the boiler to shut down. I am going to call around in the morning to see if I can get my hands on the parts.

Hi Jonas and Shiloh,

Maybe my Dad would know a bit about it? He'd like you to give him a call anyways when you get around to it... maybe a cold house is a good reason and he's a knowledgeable guy about many things that need repaired.
I will pray for warmth. :)

Good luck with that. If you need a place to stay, we have an extra bedroom. I hope it warms up soon for everyone's sake.

Oh no! Why does this happen? I feel sorry for you and hope that the problem wont be expensive and become larger than it already is. Em

Well, I am off to buy more parts...A new main switch and a new electrode kit. Keep your fingers crossed!

The electrode kit is being overnighted from Ohio! I have called EVERY distributor for our burner in the twin cities and none of them stock the item! So, we'll have one more night of space heaters in the house. Hopefully the weather will warm up a little more.

Thanks all for your concerns.
