The Storm...(part II)

The storm happened! It left over 12 inches (30 cms) in its wake; more in some places! We went to Minnehaha Falls, a park and falls close to our house. Here are some pics from the storm. FYI: that's not J or me at the falls! -Shie-

I found the entrance to Narnia!
Thrill seekers at Minnehaha Falls!

Digging out!

Who cares if the walkway to the garage is narrow..? When I was done shoveling snow just behind the garage on our drive way the pile was 4 ft high (1.2 m)and 10 ft wide (3 m). That is a lot of snow and that is nothing compared to the snow around the house and the front street! However, I can't take credit for all the work. Shie actually did a lot too...

Thanks, Em! J was shoveling so fast, it was before church and we had to get moving. It was hard work, but very satisfying! Shie-

Aren't you glad you found your cell phone BEFORE it snowed!!!
Lovely pics of the falls. And I was hoping for an 'after' picture of the front walk...since you gave us a 'before' picture already.
And now it starts again tomorrow....woooo hoooo!

All the work??? All? Is that as good as you can do? ;-)
Looks to me as if I have to balance on a line there. And the pile....where is it on the picture? I guess the pile is as big as the fish I get when I "metar" (in swedish).

@Em: remember, everything is bigger in America...we will send you an exclusive pic of the big pile!
@Mir: thanks, I have been wondering where you have been, hope work is going well - don't forget to chillax (new word I learned -combo of chill and relax!)
@Sam: we are expecting another big storm - not spring yet. "will be spring in March, right?" says Steve at church!
