Dancing Jonas, Dance, Dance, Yeah!

It was Amanda's birthday last week, and my brother bought her the Dance, Dance Revolution game for PS2. She told us she had been playing constantly and they brought it over the other day to show us and hopefully convince us to try it. I loved it and to my BIG surprise, so did Jonas. He tried once and then once more and the rest is history!
The game comes with a pad and the object is to keep time with the music that plays and step on the arrows when they cue it up for you on the screen. There are a ton of songs we could pick. The night's favorites were - "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," "Video Killed the Radio Star," and "Shout." You get ranked on how close you hit the arrows on cue - good, great, marvelous and almost are the positives. Or you can expect a big fat boo and other insults to be hurled at you.

The game is a LOT of fun and very addicting and did I mention the work out you get...? Jonas did a great job. One of the things I've heard him say about hesitating to dance is that he feels like "a black man trapped in a white body" and thanks to 'Dance, Dance...,' I think I finally caught a glimpse of that man!

A year ago I went to Heron city in Kungens kurva. Two boys/men (20-24 years old) went to a machine like that. They took of their outdoorshoes and put on sort of danceshoes, decided what songs to dance to, put coins in the machine and.....danced like stars.
People just stopped and stared at them. It´s not just for fun, its good exercise. I hope you bought it for yourselves. Em

We are looking at buying it for ourselves as well. I'll have to see if they have "Eileen" on one of the programs. It's going to be your turn soon, Sam!

Man! That looks like a total blast! I want one too!!! Tobias would add "right this minute" (i denna minut). Keep on dancing you two. Perhaps an extra income as dance teachers is close at hand?
