At Choo Choo Bobs (isn't that a cute name!) they have trains of all shapes and sizes for kids as well as collector trains and (expensive) accessories for adults. Es loved it! They have about 6 train tables all set up for kids to play; it had all sorts of trains, engines, bridges and other cool gizmos. There were a bunch of other kids who were equally excited.

Choo Choo Bobs
J and I took Es to a train store the other day. It was cold and rainy the day we went on this little adventure and it was nice to be able to go somewhere fun. As I am writing this, however, it is almost 60 (15.5 c) degrees outside - wintry October and late-summerish November! Crazy.

We also went to another store called Creative Kidstuff and built this funky robot.

It was so much fun! Esther really loved a kitchen set at the Creative Kidz store. It was so much fun seeing her pretend "cook". Thanks for the blog my love.

Vic.
I really like the set up in these stores also. You can have fun and create things without having to own every single toy that stimulates development. Es loved putting on the nuts and screws to make the robot.
You gotta let Brandon know where the Choo Choo Bobs store is. We have been talking about getting Riley some train stuff for Christmas and it would be great to see the variety!
Cleveland and Marshall in St. Paul, just over the bridge on Lake St as it turns to Marshall.
How fun! Both for parents and daughter! :-)
The greatest toys are the ones kids can build things with on their own. Building blocks, Duplo, Lego, train tracks, Mechano (do you have that in the States?), and other similar things!
Building with Lego has unfortunately decreased here, since Wii Mario Kart entered the scene. The only good thing with that game is that it frees up some time for me.
Love you!
