Faux Pas

I was teaching my speech class a couple of weeks back giving them instructions for an informative speech. I gave them a few examples about people, places, things, processes etc.

Then, I said, for example you can inform the class about Abraham Lincoln. But a lot has been written about his life, so in order to stick to the time limit, I would pick certain parts - like his early life, his writings or his pregnancy - uhm, I mean presidency! Some chuckles and puzzled looks ensued and for me it was time for a nap.

P.S. Check out the Pic of the Week...

That is funny. Me and my coworkers were talking the other day about things we have said or are worried about saying on mistake. It got really funny but I will have to tell you in person... or I would blush...

Funny Shiloh! I'm so excited and happy about little pine cone in there! (That's actually a pretty common nickname in Sweden for babies before they come out to see the light of the world!)

I think about you daily!
